NYC hiring: High-paying jobs that with starting salaries at $150K

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- New York City is looking to fill many high-level positions with starting salaries over $150K.

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is hiring an Assistant Commissioner for the Division of Portfolio Management and Conversions. The position's duties include tracking and reporting on the division's activities and leading and developing a team responsible for activities such as loan conversations and rental subsidies.

The salary is $150K. Applicants should possess a strong background in real estate finance and demonstrate knowledge of real estate development in New York City, including construction and conversion requirements.

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is also hiring an Assistant Commissioner for Housing Policy, Office of Policy and Strategy. Job duties include leading the policy and data analysts team, and growing expertise to analyze internal and external housing proposals.

The salary is $150K. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and three years of supervisory, administrative, or consultative experience in large-scale real estate management or maintenance operations.

The NYC Department of the Aging is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer for the Bureau of Financial Services. Job duties include serving as a lead intermediary between NYC Aging and overseeing bodies and coordinating NYC Aging leadership to formally respond to audits and monitor, mitigate, and resolve risks and operation issues.

The salary range is $150,000 - $175,000. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and four years of full-time experience directing a large organizational segment or directing and controlling several small organized segments.
