BJP records highest vote share of 26.77 per cent; NCP (SP) loses seats but bags more votes than NCP

The BJP secured a landslide victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections, winning 132 out of 288 seats with a 26.77% vote share. Their partners, Shiv Sena and NCP, won 57 and 41 seats respectively. Congress trailed behind with only 16 seats. The voter turnout saw an increase from the previous election, reaching 66.05%.
