Shreyas Iyer hit the jackpot in the auction war, as Punjab Kings bought him for Rs 26.75 crore. He was the 2024 IPL winning captain with Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR released him before the auction. Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders also wanted Iyer. Iyer has played 115 IPL matches. He scored 3,127 runs. Iyer also plays for India.
