Jeannie Mai’s daughter Monaco is her mom’s biggest cheerleader, and the video will bring tears to your eyes.

On Nov 23, Mai shared a truly heartwarming video of her and Monaco gearing up to watch Christmas in the Spotlight together. She shared the video with the caption reading, “no screen time… unless mommys gettin paid ????. #ChristmasintheSpotlight airs tonight 8/7c on @lifetimetv!!”

In the video, we see Mai and Monaco looking like the most adorable mother-daughter duo with their matching Bluey pajamas, getting ready for a sweet movie night. When they put on the new movie Mai is in, Monaco is so delighted to see her mom on screen that she yells, “It’s Mommy!”

Mai plays along, asking where mommy is, to which Monaco jumps off and points to her mom on screen, saying her name, “Jeannie Mai.” She then crawled back to her mom, squeezing her face, and lovingly saying, “Mommy, I’m so proud of you hunnay.” Our hearts are exploding!

Not only is it so sweet to see Monaco being her mama’s biggest cheerleader, but it’s cool to get a sneak peek of the upcoming Lifetime film Christmas in the Spotlight, which follows a singer and a football star falling in love. They have to decide if their love is real or not by the end of the Christmas season, and yes, it’s the one loosely based on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance.

Jeannie Mai

For those who don’t know, back in Jan. 2022, Mai and her ex-husband Jeezy welcomed their daughter Monaco Mai-Jenkins into the world.

During a Nov 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Mai said, “I used to be, well, I still am a boss, I can get it done by myself, but I ain’t that bossy by myself as a mom, I need help.”

She added, “I need my mom giving me advice, I need all the other moms around this area to tell me what you do with a 10-month-old. Every other week there’s some new thing that comes up with her that I got to ask and check about and I call, I listen to my friends and my pediatrician before I listen to the internet or Google. So, I’ve learned that you really need that village.”
