Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace

I’m back, Villa are back and I hope they’re fresher than I. Actually I’m not too bad, all things considered. I wasn’t really able to do much more than see the scores and a snippet of the Blunder in Brugge. Given other current events, I have to say I’m glad I managed to miss out while chasing around temples, castles and gardens and marveling (again) at the audiovisual cacophony of Shibuya and Shinjuku. Also saw that Ramsey and Kamara picked up hamstrings, I think, and that Onana is missing, too.

So, it’s just a fresh page from me and hopes that Emery can get the blip sorted. I never like playing Palace, but at least it’s at Villa Park and then it’s Juventus midweek. I need the football to put a little hope, never mind joy, back in my soul.

Bogarde, Maatsen and Barkley all get starts with Cash and Digne on the bench, and let’s hope Leon can start turning the corner.
