Maharashtra, Jharkhand Elections Highlights: With vote counting underway for Jharkhand’s 81 Assembly constituencies, JMM won 20 seats and leading in 14 seats. Hemant Soren wins Bahrait. INC wins 10 seats and leading in six seats. RJD wins one seat, leading in three seats. CPI (ML) (L) wins two seats. In Maharashtra, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance is on course bag a decisive win in the hotly contested Maharashtra elections and was ahead in 229 of the 288 Assembly seats. The Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi appeared stumbling, with its candidates leading in just 56 seats.
