Assam bypolls: Ruling NDA allies leading in 4, Congress in one seat

The ruling NDA alliance in Assam is leading in four out of five assembly constituencies where bypolls were held, while the opposition Congress is leading in one. Counting of votes began on Saturday morning to decide the fate of 34 candidates.
