Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne Used to Be Roommates
Breakups are hard on the psyche — a time when one needs extra care, love, and support from loved ones. For most of us, that might mean calling our moms or going out with the girls. But if you’re Cara Delevingne, you can simply move in with Taylor Swift for a while.
In a new Interview magazine conversation with the comedian Nikki Glaser, Delevingne shared that she could “definitely” roast Swift thanks to having lived with her. “I was going through a really horrible breakup, and she let me live with her,” she said. “We’re very different people. She’s very homely, because she looked after me so well, but we got into some — not trouble, but I definitely took her for a bit of a wild ride. Just to get her to blush would be great.” (To clarify, in the U.K., where Delevingne is from, “homely” is commonly used to mean something like “cozy” or “homey.”) Delevingne added that Swift is “one of the funniest, most clever people,” explaining: “Anyone could roast her easily, but at the same time, she could fuck everyone up so hard.”
Delevingne didn’t specify when the move-in occurred, but she met Swift at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Since then, according to Cosmopolitan, she’s been in long-term relationships with St. Vincent from 2015 to 2016 and Ashley Benson from 2018 to 2020. She’s been with her current girlfriend, Leah Mason — the singer Minke — since June of 2022. This timeline leaves one major question: Did these two live together before or after the sex bench?
