Submarine collides with fishing boat off Goa, 2 fishermen missing

While details of the incident have not been shared, sources said that the collision took place when the submarine was surfacing while on a routine patrol and could not spot the fishing vessel. The Kalvari class submarine, which is believed to have been in service for less than four years, has also sustained damage in the collision but the crew is safe.
