Wicked offers a tantalizing taste of musical's magic, but still suffers from Part 1 syndrome

Wicked, led by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande is impressively faithful to the movie-musical format. But with a full year remaining until Part 2 is released, there's still a lot to be desired.
