Miley Cyrus Makes Rare Reference to Ex-Husband Liam Hemsworth, Draws Comparison to Boyfriend Maxx Morando

Miley Cyrus looked back on her relationship with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth in a recent interview.

While discussing her relationship with Maxx, Miley made a very rare reference to her time with Liam.

Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar, Miley mentioned that she collaborated with Maxx on her forthcoming new album, which has a working title of Something Beautiful.

She noted that collaborating with loved ones is not uncommon for her.

“I worked with my dad forever,” she said, referencing her Miley Cyrus days alongside dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

She continued, saying, “That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other. I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much.”

If you were unaware, Miley and Liam met on the set of The Last Song, the 2010 movie where they played love interests.

Miley‘s Grammy winning song “Flowers” is seemingly about her time with Liam. There are multiple apparent references to their relationship in the lyrics.
