The world’s tallest woman is from Turkey, Rumeysa Gelgi. She has a splendid height of 215.16 cm (7 ft 0.7 in).  Rumeysa is a qualified front end web developer and earned the qualification in 2021. 

Rumeysa was born in Turkey on January 1, 1997. She is an activist, a public speaker, and holds five Guinness World Records titles. She broke the record of tallest woman living at the age of 18 and registered her name for four more records. 

After her birth, she showed signs of Weaver Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. She was diagnosed with this condition at the Hacettepe University, Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic. She was born oversized.

Rumeysa’s family has always supported her and they encouraged her to achieve goals in her life. She loved to spend quality time with her family members, especially with niece, Zeynep. 

Rumeysa is an advocate, a passionate researcher and a public speaker. She loves to read crime novels and is a passionate swimmer. She earned her high school in 2016 as her education was not normal like others due to her peculiar condition. 

She has written on her website that she has never attended school in person and her studies done through homeschooling. Rumeysa loves sightseeing and exploring new places.
