Atrocities case: IRS officer Wankhede moves HC seeking independent probe against Nawab Malik

Sameer Wankhede, former NCB zonal director, has petitioned the Bombay High Court to transfer the investigation of an atrocities case against NCP leader Nawab Malik to an independent agency. Wankhede alleges police inaction in the case, stemming from a complaint he filed in 2022, has caused him and his family mental distress and humiliation.
