Abbott plans new facility in Kilkenny, 800 new jobs for Ireland

DUBLIN, Ireland: Abbott has launched a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kilkenny, marking a significant milestone in its global diabetes care business.

The site, spanning 30,000 square meters, will serve as a manufacturing hub for FreeStyle Libre 3 sensors, the world's smallest and most advanced continuous glucose monitoring devices.

This facility is part of Abbott's 440 million euro investment
