"Skin on bones": ME report released on 7-year-old Violet Mitchell

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) - The Medical Examiner's Office released the details of the tragic death of Violet Mitchell.

Disturbing details revealed seven-year-old Violet Mitchell was brought dead to the hospital with bruises and looking malnourished in early August.

According to the Medical Examiner's report, Mitchell was quote "skin on bones" with a rubber tip of a baby bottle blocking her intestines. The report concluded it was not clear if the object got there by accident or if it was intentional.

The child's mother, Lisa Mitchell, has been charged alongside her sister, Tiffany Mitchell, her boyfriend, Anthony Yonko, and his brother, David Yonko, with child neglect and aggravated abuse.

Authorities say the remaining children and cousins in the home are currently in DHS care.
