Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inspects Swahid Smarak Kshetra, set to honour Assam Agitation martyrs

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inspected the Swahid Smarak Kshetra, a memorial dedicated to the martyrs of the Assam Agitation. The memorial, costing Rs. 100 crore, will feature a towering structure, busts of martyrs, and a gallery showcasing the agitation's history. Sarma stated the site will become a pilgrimage for those honoring the sacrifices made during the movement.
