Market 32/Price Chopper to donate to Albany ALS Center

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Market 32/Price Chopper is presenting a check for nearly a quarter of a million dollars to St. Peter's Health Partners on Tuesday. This is in support of the health organization's Lewis Golub MDA and ALS Clinic in Albany.

The funds were raised by Market 32/Price Chopper's annual trade partner golf outing at the Edison Club in late September. Since 2020, the event has raised over $800,000 for the ALS Center.

The St. Peter's Hospital ALS Regional Center gives specialized services and resources to people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), sometimes referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, and their families. The check will be presented at 10:30 a.m. at Market 32 in Clifton Park's Shoppers World Plaza.
