Albany High hosts community swim each Tuesday, Thursday
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Community swimming at Albany High School began Tuesday. The pool will be open each Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. when the school is open.
Swimmers can use the Albany High pool before the start of the school day. Swimming, however, will not take place when school is closed.
The pool will be open to Albany residents ages 18 and older with valid identification and they must provide contact information with the school when signing in. Bathrooms, showers and locker rooms will be available for use during the swimming time frame also.
Those interested in the swimming program can park at the upper Washington parking lot but must enter the building through the school's main entrance to go through security. All swimmers must exit the building by 7:45 a.m. due to the school's security procedures.
