Contraband investigation leads to ODOC correctional officer arrest

STRINGTOWN, Okla. (KFOR) - The Oklahoma Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General (OIG) on Tuesday announced the arrest of a correctional officer at Mack Alford Correctional Center after a contraband investigation.

OIG officials say, the contraband smuggling operation began in August uncovering evidence that implicated Glenda Page in facilitating contraband into the facility.

According to OIG agents, Page admitted to her involvement and was arrested.

Search warrants executed at Page's residence also led to the seizure of several items and suspected drugs. OIG says, Page faces several charges, including:

  • Bringing or possessing contraband in a penal institution (drugs, tobacco and cellphones)
  • Conspiracy
  • Using money services for unlawful acts
  • The investigation is ongoing, with additional arrests expected

Page is currently booked into the Atoka county Jail and bond set at $150,000.
