Book Review: 'How to Think Like Socrates' leaves readers with questions

In “How to Think Like Socrates: Ancient Philosophy as a Way of Life in the Modern World,” Donald J. Robertson aims to show how the famed philosopher's work can apply to our lives. The Associated Press' Andrew DeMillo writes that it often feels like it's two different books written for two different audiences. DeMillo writes that the book succeeds mostly when it walks readers through Socrates' lessons and explains complicated subjects like the Socratic Method. But DeMillo writes that Robertson's all-too-detailed history of ancient Greece makes it a more difficult read for the layperson.
