North Columbus shooting leaves man with life-threatening injuries

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A shooting in north Columbus has left a man fighting for his life early Tuesday morning.

According to Columbus police, reports of a shooting were received Monday night at 11:19 p.m. in the 1900 block of Deborah Court in the Forest Park East neighborhood. The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition with “life-threatening” injuries.

There is not current suspect information or leads on what led to the shooting, but homicide detectives arrived at the scene to investigate. The victim remains hospitalized, as of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday but investigators do not believe he will survive.
