Not seen this posted before, but if it's of interest, the second part of a long interview with Troy Deeney. Towards the end of the second part (below) he goes into the state he found Blues in when he got there/why his head wasn't in the best place around the time he joined us. He was on £12k a week, and says he would have signed a new contract for half that amount too.
He does say here there's stuff he can't say, and suggests another Blues-related guest is on soon. Found this quite interesting, and unusually for the podcast concerned, the interviewers let him tell the story and don't interrupt too often.
