I was fed up with my kids trashing the house so turned the dead space under the stairs into mini playroom

WHEN you are a parent, it can seem impossible to keep the house neat and tidy.

However, one mum came up with a solution to the problem, and transformed the space under her stairs into a mini playroom for her kids.

Savvy mum Jade, who posts under @jaderathbone3, uploaded a video showing how she had decorated the space into a fun area for her children.

She added a mini kitchen, teddies and books to keep her kids occupied.

And to make it look pretty, she added streamers to the door, glow-in-the-dark stars on the walls and ceiling and a colourful playmat on the floor.

Jade wrote: “POV you converted the cupboard under the stairs into a little playroom for your kids so they have their own space to trash.”

She added: “Although I’m pretty sure we love it in there just as much as them.”

Many parents were highly impressed with her idea of using the space, and rushed to the comments to praise her.

One said: “This is so cool.”

Another added: “Aw love this!!”

And a third commented: “You mama – are a genius!”

Playrooms aren’t the only ways people are using the cupboards under their stairs.
