Naxal leader Vikram Gowda feared dead in Karnataka

The Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) conducted an operation in Hebri, Udupi District. The operation followed reports of Naxal activity in the region. An exchange of fire took place between the ANF and a group of suspected Naxals. Vikram Gowda, a prominent Naxal leader, is believed to be dead. The ANF is searching for the remaining suspects.
