Virat Kohli names his Favourite century on Australian soil ahead of Border-Gavaskar Trophy
In a recent video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Indian star batter Virat Kohli shed some light on his favourite Test century that he had ever scored in Australia. Kohli has interestingly scored 6 of his total 29 Test tons on Australian grounds.
Virat has showed his likeliness for the twin tons that he scored in Adelaide when he made his debut in 2014. Apart from that, he called for his masterplay at Perth in 2018 to be his favourite century he has scored in Australia.
“My best knock in Australia is definitely my hundred at Perth, 2018-19 series that we played. I thought that’s the toughest pitch that I’ve played on in Test cricket, it was great to have a hundred on that one,” Kohli said in BCCI’s video.
Kohli has had an incredible average of 54.08 and 1352 runs in 13 games on Australian grounds. He came out to be the top run-scorer for India during the tours in 2011-12 and the 2014-15. In terms of most centuries scored by an Indian player in Australia, Kohli sits tied up with Sachin Tendulkar.
