Charlie Kirk demands Matt Gaetz 'arrest' PA Gov. Josh Shapiro over Senate recount
Right-wing host and activist Charlie Kirk called on former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), the nominee for attorney general, to arrest Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) and other Pennsylvania officials after a recount was automatically triggered because incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D) lost to challenger Dave McCormick (R) by 0.2%.
During his Monday show, Kirk expressed outrage because Pennsylvania officials were conducting a recount that could find that Casey won his Senate race. The state automatically conducts recounts on races decided by a margin of 0.5% or less.
Kirk argued that President-elect Donald Trump's win was "too big to rig," but he said there was "suspicion" around Senate races.
Failed Pennsylvania congressional candidate Sean Parnell claimed Democrats were counting "ballots that do not have a secrecy envelope or these are ballots that do not have a date or ballots that do not have a signature."
"And so when the media says, oh, we have, these are just conspiracy theorists or election deniers, I will never be gaslit into believing anything else," Parnell insisted. "What they did in 2020 is no different than what they're doing today."
Kirk called the recount "legal anarchy" and said that a future Attorney General Gaetz should arrest the state officials.
"I mean, because at some point, if everyone's in on it, if the Secretary of State is in on it, and the Attorney General is in on it, and the governor is in on it, and everyone's in on it, and saying they're openly ignoring the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the federal government, Matt Gaetz as Attorney General, should just go arrest them," Kirk insisted.

"Would it be appropriate by February, Matt Gaetz sends in federal marshals, sends in the FBI, conducts a very quick investigation, finds that they defied the Pennsylvania Supreme Court?" the right-wing activist asked Parnell.
"Well, of course," Parnell replied. "I mean, absolutely, that needs to happen."
