Shooting in south Columbus leaves one dead

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person is dead after they transported themselves to the hospital after a shooting Monday night.

According to a Columbus police dispatcher, the shooting was reported on the 200 block of Highview Landing in south Columbus at approximately 8:50 p.m.

The victim, whose age was not given, drove themself to Nationwide Children's Hospital, where they were pronounced dead at 9:18 p.m., according to dispatchers.
