Motorcyclist killed in Calcasieu Parish single-vehicle crash

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) – A Lake Charles man died when his motorcycle went off the road in Calcasieu Parish, authorities said.
The crash claimed the life of Brandon Clark, 27, of Lake Charles.
Louisiana State Police Troop D began investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday on La. 3059 near Luke Powers Road.
Investigators said Clark was riding a 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on La. 3059 when the motorcycle traveled off the roadway to the right and overturned, ejecting Clark.
Clark, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Standard toxicology samples were collected from Clark and submitted for analysis. The cause of this crash remains under investigation, officials said.
