Tickets on sale for Downtown Albany Hot Chocolate Stroll
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The fifth annual Hot Chocolate Stroll in Downtown Albany is set to return on Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Although participating businesses are not yet announced, event tickets are available.
Hot chocolate lovers can purchase a ticket to receive a passport to stamp at each location and a commemorative mug. Each participant can also vote on their favorite hot chocolate.
In addition to regular hot chocolate, different locations along the stroll will offer hot chocolate cocktails, for an additional cost. Local shops and artisans will be available for holiday shopping as well, as the event is happening in conjunction with day two of the Holiday Market at Union Station.
Stroll Details:
- Check In: inside Union Station between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Show your passport: You will receive a stamp or check mark at each business
- Collect stamps: Collecting stamps or check marks can enter participants in a chance to win a $50 Downtown Albany Gift Card
- Vote: When done sampling, return to Union Station to vote on your favorite hot chocolate
Tickets for the stroll are between $20 and $30. Day of tickets may also be purchased at Union Station.
Event parking is available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at ParkAlbany's Riverfront Garage, 2 Columbia Street, directly adjacent to Union Station for $5. On-street parking is also available and free on weekends.
