Car collides with, kills pedestrian in Berkshire county
ADAMS, Mass. (NEWS10) -- A pedestrian has died after a car collided with him on the border of Adams and North Adams on Sunday at around 5:12 p.m. The Berkshire County District Attorney's Office says it happened across from Bounti-Fare restaurant when the pedestrian was crossing a four-lane road to enter the restaurant.
It was dark at the time of the incident and the driver was not under the influence of alcohol, per the DA's Office. The victim was pronounced dead by a Northern Berkshire EMS paramedic while en route to Berkshire Medical Center.
The victim's name will not be released until the family members have been notified of his passing.
