More than 223K migrants have flooded NYC so far — double Albany’s population

The staggering number of asylum seeker arrivals now equates to about half the number of people who live on Staten Island (490,687) and roughly 15% of Manhattan's residential population (1.6 million), according to the latest US Census data.
