Air Pollution: After Delhi, Gurgaon temporarily shuts down schools, authorises online classes

Due to worsening air quality in Gurgaon, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching the "Severe" category in some areas, physical classes from grades 1 to 5 have been suspended starting November 19, 2024. The Director General of Elementary Education, Haryana, issued the directive, mandating online classes for all government and private schools in place of in-person instruction.
