Israeli strikes in Gaza kill 34, including children
Gaza authorities reported that Israeli attacks in the northern region have resulted in the deaths of 34 people, including children.
Mohammad Basel, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, stated in a press release that the attacks occurred on Sunday, November 17, targeting a five-story building in the Beit Lahia area.
He noted that Israeli strikes in the area continue, while rescue operations for the wounded are becoming increasingly challenging.
Israeli attacks on Gaza persist, with daily casualties reported, including numerous women and children among the dead and injured.
Yesterday, Reuters published a report on an Israeli strike on a school in Gaza, which was serving as a shelter for displaced Palestinians.
According to the report, the attack on the school led to 10 fatalities and left 20 others injured.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that since the beginning of the conflict, 43,799 people have lost their lives.
The escalating violence in Gaza underscores the urgent need for a ceasefire and immediate international intervention to prevent further civilian casualties. Without decisive global action, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza will continue to worsen, causing immense suffering to its population.
