Hindalco expects to gain from China scrapping export tax rebate

Hindalco Industries Ltd. anticipates benefiting from China's removal of tax rebates on aluminum and copper exports. The move is expected to reduce cheap imports from China, providing relief to Indian producers facing pressure from increased Chinese foil purchases. Managing Director Satish Pai expressed optimism, stating that the company will face fewer low-cost Chinese exports.
