Rylan shares first look at epic new adventure with Rob Rinder as they jet to India for hit BBC travel series
RYLAN Clark has given fans a sneak peek of his brand-new series with Rob Rinder, as the duo set off on an exciting journey to India.
After the smash-hit first series of Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour in Italy, BBC bosses have lined up an even bigger adventure for the duo.
This time, they’re heading all the way to India!
The new series promises a long-haul trip packed with drama, laughs, and plenty of surprises after months of talks to find a destination to top their Italian exploits.
While Greece, Spain and France were all considered, they decided to head east for a season entitled A Passage To India, named after the 1924 novel by E.M. Forster.
Rylan, 36, has given fans a sneak peek of his new series with Rob, 46, sharing a batch of photos from their month-long adventure in India on Instagram.
The snaps show the pair jetting off from the airport, hopping on the metro, and exploring the bustling streets of Delhi.
Their travels took them from canoeing on serene waters to sipping chai in local cafes and marveling at India’s stunning architecture.
Animal lovers are in for a treat too, as the two spent time with elephants and monkeys.
In a memorable moment, Rylan is even seen trying his hand at a classical Indian string instrument — clearly ready to embrace every experience India has to offer.
The reality star captioned the snaps: “A month in India. What an experience. Coming next year to @bbc and @bbciplayer ”
Fans flocked to the comment section to share their excitement for the new series.
One said: “I can’t wait for this. I loved the Italy programme, but India will be epic! ”
Another added: “Fantastic! Can’t wait to watch this, love you both!”
A third penned: “One of my favorite places in the world. Cant wait to watch!”
An insider said: “It took a long time to decide where to send Rob and Rylan after their first series — a hard act to follow.

“But series two will see them travelling across India to experience its unique culture, architecture and art.
“It’s going to be as action- pack as the first series, if not more, and being so far away from home will no doubt see Rob and Rylan experience plenty of firsts.”
Last year the pals journeyed from Venice to Florence and Rome.
It comes as no surprise that it led to a second series — which I previously revealed — because the fan reaction and viewing figures were equally impressive.
A source said: “The team behind the show didn’t want to take a gap year before starting work again, and Rob and Rylan wanted to hit the road.”
In series one, the duo followed in the footsteps of society Brits from the 17th to 19th centuries who visited Italy to broaden their minds.
Renaissance fan Rob introduced Rylan to art, architecture and history, while at times his friend gave him confidence to step out of his own comfort zone.
Who knows what they’ll get up to in India as the duo looks set for another wild ride when the show airs next year.
The first series of Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
