Ravena firefighters return from Orange Co. wildfires
RAVENA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Six of Ravena Fire Department's firefighters returned to their station after three days of fighting wildfires in Orange County. New York State Fire Mobilization and Mutual Aid Activation sent the firefighters after a request for assistance.

Ravena Deputy Fire Chief Travis Witbeck said the six firefighters immediately volunteered when the assistance request was made. Witbeck added that the department is familiar with deploying manpower and equipment for past disasters in New York.
