Multiple agencies respond to Mechanicville fire
MECHANICVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A fire broke out in a multi-story home in Mechanicville on Saturday morning. Fire crews responded to the fire at 156 Saratoga Avenue around 8:45 a.m.
Mechanicville Deputy Fire Chief Matt Dunn said the fire was controlled by 9:15 a.m., and everyone safely exited the home. Dunn said the cause of the fire is under investigation and is not considered suspicious.
Dunn added that the fire spread to the neighbor's home at 156 Saratoga Ave. but didn't displace the family. A GoFundMe has been created in support of the victims.
Multiple agencies, including Mechanicville Fire Department, Round Lake Fire Department, and others, responded to the fire. Stay with NEWS10 as more information becomes available.
