I was told St Pauli, fan base is something not to be messed with. In Germany they have a similar reputation to Millwall over here.

I didn’t realise they was left leaning in politics.

I've read some descriptions of this abandonment of twitter as kind of a social media version of centrist liberal white flight. Not sure how this squares with St Pauli who I've often felt are more principled than the extremist centrist mob
