Dee-Dee Bailey suffers meltdown as guilt over Joel Deering’s murder gets to her in Coronation Street
DEE-DEE Bailey is set to suffer a meltdown in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.
The lawyer – played by Channique Sterling-Brown – was engaged to Joel Deering (Calum Lill) until learning of his true, abusive nature.

In scenes yet to air, she wakes up shaken after having a nightmare.
While meeting with a new client, Dee-Dee hurries out before suffering a meltdown.
Police officer Kit (Jacob Roberts) does his best to try and calm her down.
Later, Dee-Dee confides in Sarah (Tina O’Brien) about some shocking news.
After Joel’s murder, several suspects entered the frame as possible culprits.
The killer’s identity was finally revealed to viewers in last night’s episode.
Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) – Joel’s former victim – was the one who killed him.
However, Max Turner (Paddy Bever) covered up the crime and is now charged with murder.
Only he and Lauren know the truth, but will it all come to light?
The troubled young woman fled the cobbles earlier this year after Joel attacked her.
With no one aware of whereabouts, Lauren was presumed dead for several weeks.
Her former boss Roy Cropper (David Neilson) was at one point charged with her alleged murder.
However, Kit later framed groomer Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) by planting evidence.
Upon returning to Weatherfield, Lauren was revealed to be pregnant with Joel’s baby.

She later gave birth to their son Frankie, around the time Dee-Dee uncovered the truth about Joel.
Other murder suspects included Dee-Dee’s father Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) and uncle Ronnie (Vinta Morgan).
Fans were also suspicious of police officers Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and Kit, as well as Carla Connor (Alison King).
