Mistletoe Market opens in Oklahoma City featuring local vendors
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The annual Mistletoe Market is back open in Oklahoma City through the weekend.
“It's a very fun atmosphere,” said Candace Beaty, the Mistletoe Market chair. “From the moment you walk in the door, you feel the Christmas environment.”
The market is inside the Oklahoma City Convention Center.
“The Mistletoe Market is a shopping extravaganza,” said Beaty. “We have a wide variety of vendors out here selling everything from gourmet food, clothing, candles and a lot of accessories, home décor. It's a big, fun shopping event.”
Proceeds benefit the Junior League of OKC’s health and wellness based community projects in the metro.
“This is our largest fundraiser. This is how we are able to do what we are able to do,” said Kelli Hilgenfeld Porter, the President of the Junior League of Oklahoma City.
The nonprofit partners with organizations like the YWCA, The Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County and Pivot.
General shopping for the market is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Sunday.
General admission costs $15. More information can be found here.
