Lidl launches Oodie dupes and fluffy onesies to keep you warm this winter & you’ll get change from a tenner
LIDL has teased that customers will soon be able to get a fleeced hoodie for a fraction of the price of an Oodie.
The fashionable item that’s ideal for staying warm throughout the colder months will be available in three colours.

The loungewear is made from “warm, fluffy” material and has a fleeced lining for a cosy feel.
Ribbed cuffs help to prevent cold chills, while a pouch pocket is ideal for everything from phones to a TV remote while relaxing at home.
The hoodies have an oversized style that flatters both men and women.
Colour options include tie-dye blue, pink, and black for £9.99 each.
The fleeced hoodies are sure to delight bargain hunters as the original Oodie costs £65 when it’s not on sale.
Lidl’s options could be mistaken for being from The Oodie thanks to its similarities in colour and design.
Oodies are described as a “jumper crossed with a blanket” and their soft feel has won them a legion of fans.
Many people argue they are a necessity for delaying the need to turn the central heating on during winter.
The “wearable blankets” are sold in a wide variety of colours but the musk pink and blue tie-dye are perhaps the most similar to Lidl’s collection.
According to the brand, “one size fits most” and they are ideal for “snuggling up” on the sofa.
One customer gushed that their Oodie is “warm, cosy, and sooo soft” in their review, while others raved about gifting to loved ones.
Even with a flash sale this weekend the Oodie’s are still considerably more expensive than Lidl’s dupe with the blue tie-dye priced at £26 and musk pink at £32.50 for a limited time.
Alongside their affordable Oodie dupe, Lidl will give shoppers another reason to flock to the supermarket with their Esmara Ladies Onsie, also priced at £9.99.
Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts
IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.
Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.
It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.
Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.
It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
It features elasticated cuffs on the sleeves and ankles to help stay warm and has a loose fit for comfort.
The onesie will be available in pink, blue, and a multicoloured print with sizes ranging from small to large.
Amid dropping temperatures arguably customers won’t be as concerned about how their outfit looks as they are about staying warm throughout the next few months.
Lidl’s onesie doesn’t appear to have the same cosy lining as their fleeced hoodie but fashionistas are likely to be spotted wearing either outside of the house.
