Govt proposes task force to push for 500 GW renewable energy capacity target

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi proposed a task force to help India achieve its goal of 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. He urged industry players to develop strategies to meet the target and highlighted India's progress, having already achieved 212 GW from non-fossil fuel sources.
