Major push on cards for social science research in India; ICSSR readies big funding hike

ICSSR will increase funding for social science research in India. The council will support studies on vulnerable tribes, women researchers, and student projects. Research on tribal groups will begin early next year. A research initiative for students will launch in 2025.
