Amateur John Lewis Christmas advert costing just £500 to make is hailed 'a million times better' than the retail giant's offering as viewers say the tear-jerking watch is 'beautiful'

Known as the 'Robin' advert, the homemade clip, made by Sam Clegg, from West Yorkshire, has created a frenzy on social media and been viewed more than one million times on YouTube.
