Don’t write I’m A Celebrity’s Coleen Rooney off as a spoiled WAG – she’ll be strong and hilarious, says Vicky Pattison
VICKY Pattison has said to not write off I’m A Celebrity’s Coleen Rooney – and thinks she’ll be strong and hilarious.
The Geordie star, 36 – who won the ITV series in 2015 – has given her opinion on this year’s official line-up.

Another star taking part in wag Coleen, and the 38-year-old’s fee is understood to be way beyond Nigel Farage’s £1.5million last year.
Speaking about her upcoming stint down under, Vicky said: “Coleen Rooney, the whole nation is excited to see her in there, but I would actually say I think there’ll be some people who write her off as like some sort of spoiled wag.
“I disagree, I think she’ll be very strong and very stoic.
“I think she’ll get her head down. I also think like don’t underestimate the Scouser, I think she’ll be hilarious.
“So I think all of these women will be brilliant.”
Speaking to The Sun on behalf of Lily’s Kitchen, Vicky also opened up about the rest of the famous taking part.
She said: “There’s some pretty big names and ones to watch.
“I myself absolutely adore Oti Mabuse.
“We’ve worked together before, she’s on my podcast, I was on hers.
“She’s just like sunlight in human form so I’m really excited to see her in there.
“I think she’ll be brilliant because it gets boring in there, you get hungry in there.
“I think Oti will be like a breath of fresh air. I think she’ll be really positive for the camp. I think she’s one to watch.
“I think GK Barry will be brilliant.
“I think probably the opposite of the spectrum. I think she’s gonna be quite cranky away from our home comforts. I think she’ll be a trooper, but I think she’ll be great to watch.
“Maura – I think she’ll be incredible to watch. I actually think the bugs should be scared of her, she’s a weapon. I think Maura is tough as nails.”
The former Ex on The Beach star explained that she’s also pals with DJ Melvin.
She added: “And you know just to give the lads a bit of a mention as well.
“Melvin is a friend of mine and he’s probably one of the sweetest guys I know in the industry, always supportive.
“I think the energy in camp going to be brilliant. But I do think he’s gonna be a total fanny.”
Vicky was crowned queen of the jungle during the fifteenth series of the ITV show.
Union J singer George Shelley was runner-up.
Speaking about her time in the jungle with Sky News’ Political Editor Beth Rigby, Vicky said: “You’ve got no phones, no books, no food, no booze.
“That is the hardest bit.
“So everyone thinks it’s like the bugs and, don’t get me wrong, the heat is horrible especially for a little Geordie like me.”
She continued: “It’s the weirdest thing – when I came out of the jungle everyone assumed I had the world at my feet.
“And I should have been the happiest I had ever been but I was really out of my depth.
“I had raging imposter syndrome, I didn’t believe I deserved anything I was getting.
“Because I felt out of place at these parties and because I met all these big celebs I didn’t think I deserved to meet, I drank to cope with being quite insecure and overwhelmed.
“It could have very easily gotten out of control.”
