A RADIO 1 star gags as he’s forced to drink blended bull’s penis just seconds after meeting his castmates in a stomach-churning moment.
BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, 32, is part of the 2024 programme’s full line-up, after being headhunted for the series.
And it looks as though the DJ has been thrown in at the deep as soon as he’s entered the show.
Dean looked disgusted as he visibly gagged on the bull’s penis, which took form as a smoothie in a glass with a straw, and a little green umbrella positioned in it.
The Radio 1 DJ and his co-stars were handed the drinks as they joined Ant and Dec for the series kick off.
Oti Mabuse, Danny Jones, Tulisa and Jane Moore were positioned in a line as they all got ready to down their drinks.
The former Gaydio presenter began featuring more prominently on BBC Radio 1 on 2021.
Now arriving for the show, bosses have told how they are hoping he’ll add drama and hilarious banter to the camp.
And it appears that has already begun for Dean.
Meanwhile, the celebs have been doing skydives as the new series kicks off.
McFly singer Danny Jones, 38, was one of five stars who made the leap from a helicopter on the Australian coast as filming got underway.
He was earlier seen racing towards choppers with Sun columnist Jane Moore, N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, ex-Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse and BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough.
Our Jane got into a bit of trouble during filming, as she landed a quarter of a mile away from the planned landing spot – but she gave a thumbs-up when asked if she was OK.
Show hosts Ant and Dec watched over them at a mansion in Queensland before they were flown to Byron Bay, New South Wales, to do the jump.
Wag Coleen Rooney, 38 – who has a fear of heights – was among the other half of the new campmates awaiting their arrival on the beach.
A source said: “This is the kind of challenge that gets the adrenaline flowing and fans love watching it back home.
“The celebs are fully up for it and this series looks set to be one of the best for years.”
ITV bosses have made an exciting shake-up to this year’s series, which launches on Sunday.
The initial ten celebs will pair up with each other and race into the jungle – with the winners being made the camp leaders.
It means they will get to stay in proper beds, sheltered from any rain, in the newly-built Leaders’ Lodge – which overlooks the other campmates who just get the usual basic beds and hammocks.
And it will be the first time the camp has had two leaders instead of one.
