Duplex fire in SE Portland displaces 6 residents, 4 pets

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Crews are on scene of a duplex fire in Southeast Portland that displaced six people and four pets early Wednesday morning.

The fire at SE 143rd Avenue affected both units of the building, according to Rick Graves with Portland Fire and Rescue.

"The cause of the fire is unknown, fire investigator are still working on cause," Graves said.
