Ecuador mourns death of national team talent Marco Angulo, aged 22
November 13 – Ecuador international Marco Angulo has tragically died at the age of 22 just over a month after being seriously injured in a car crash.
The defensive midfielder, who played for Ecuadorian league champion L.D.U. Quito on loan from MLS team FC Cincinnati, was a passenger in a car that crashed into a metal barrier southeast of Quito on October 7.
The crash also killed his former youth team teammate Roberto Cabezas,
