A WOMAN who was fed up with living in the UK has revealed why she decided to move to Spain.

Georgia, who is originally from the UK, revealed she had bought a gorgeous house in Spain earlier this year and would never look back on her decision.

Taking to social media, the blonde beauty showed off her stunning new home which included three bedrooms, a giant rooftop area, a pool, and scenic views of the ocean.

She said: “It’s not been an easy process.

“There’s been a lot of stress and tears, but we finally got here in the end.”

Georgia had lived in Spain for five years already but had always rented but now she can proudly call herself a homeowner in the region of Andalucia.

“With such nice weather almost all year round, it is so nice to have so much outdoor space,” she added.

“And for me, what sold me was just the unreal sea views from almost all of the windows in the house.”

Not only do the couple have a huge rooftop area to privately enjoy, but they also have a garden below which they’ve kitted out with their own pool.

Georgia reveals she’d never move back to the UK for multiple reasons, one being that there’s always something to do in Spain and it doesn’t cost a lot to go out and socialise.

Speaking of money, she also revealed the price of energy bills in Spain – and they were far less than the average UK prices.

In the summer, where she typically uses aircon for her house throughout the day, she revealed her energy bills cost just £50 a month.

The UK in comparison is an average payment of £150 a month.

And that’s not all, her water bill came to just £20 for two months of usage – and that was with filling up her swimming pool.

The videos have gone viral on her TikTok account @geoinspain with over 2 million views and over 100k likes.

People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments – and many were stunned by how cheap the bills were and how incredible her home looked.

Moving house hacks

1. Declutter Before You Pack

Sort through your belongings and get rid of anything you no longer need. Donate, sell, or recycle items to lighten your load.

2. Create an Inventory

Make a list of all your items. This helps keep track of everything and ensures nothing gets lost in the move.

3. Use Quality Packing Materials

Invest in sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, and packing tape. This will protect your belongings during the move.

4. Label Everything

Clearly label each box with its contents and the room it belongs to. This makes unpacking much easier and more organized.

5. Pack a ‘First Day’ Box

Include essentials like toiletries, a change of clothes, snacks, and important documents. This will keep you from rummaging through boxes on your first day.

6. Take Photos of Electronics Setup

Before unplugging your electronics, take photos of the wiring setup. This will make it easier to reconnect everything at your new place.

7. Use Suitcases for Heavy Items

Pack books and other heavy items in rolling suitcases. This makes them easier to transport and reduces the risk of injury.

8. Colour-Code Your Boxes

Use different coloured stickers or markers for each room. This will help movers quickly identify where each box should go in your new home.

One person wrote: “What a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning.”

Another commented: “Absolutely stunning it’s a dream to have that sea view.”

“I want to move to Spain the U.K. is depressing,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “No wonder people are leaving the UK.”

“Why do people say that electricity is so expensive in Spain? I thought it’s like €200 a month per person. But when I moved here, I realized it’s not the case,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Absolutely great bills.”
