Soon, you may travel South Bombay to Palghar in 30 minutes as Mumbai coastal road gets extended to Virar

Mumbai's Coastal Road will be extended to Virar, reducing travel time from Nariman Point to 35-40 minutes. Japan will provide Rs 54,000 crore for the extension. The first phase, from Princess Street flyover to Worli end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, opened on March 12. The 10.5 km stretch saw over 16,000 vehicles on its first day.
